Science Exchange: Call for stories_

The Royal Institution of Australia (RiAus) in association with the Australian International Documentary Conference are calling for those with a science story to submit their ideas to an exclusive forum of international documentary producers and broadcasters.
This international program accepts submissions from all over the world with the aim to create collaborative science-documentary projects for the internet, television and/or feature documentary release.
Producers are looking for content that is:
* Hot Topics (i.e. future trends, cultural explorations, bio-medical, space, energy)
* Innovative Formats (things never seen or tried before)
* Character Hosts (interesting charismatic personalities)
* Provocation (challenging topics, alternative viewpoints, controversy)
* Excitement (amazing stories, adventure, mystery, travelogue, discovery)
Be creative and tell your story with a popular perspective!

Submissions close Monday 18 January 2010 - the successful shortlist will be announced in early February 2010.
All shortlisted entries will be pitched to an invited audience of producers and broadcasters at RiAus on 23 February 2010.
