I am interested in how science can inform artistic activity - particularly recent discoveries in neuroscience, human development, evolutionary deveopment, and sociobiology - and how these insights begin to explain the complexity of embodiment. In other words I want to provide quantitative information regarding human behavior and from this information develop an informed perspective of aesthetics.
My work often encourages sensorimotor engagement by incorperating unconventional optical phenomena. In turn participants learn about how their body and their immediate environment acquire meaning through discovery.
